Roadbook Creator & Tester

We are seeking highly experienced off-road riders to create, digitalise, and test roadbooks for our motorcycle events.

This is a precision-critical role. Roadbooks are a core safety component of our events, and accuracy is non-negotiable. Errors in navigation can lead to confusion, rider fatigue, and accidents — so this role requires someone who can maintain exceptional attention to detail even when tired, riding long distances, or working in challenging weather and terrain.

what you'll be doing

  • Riding full event routes to capture, write, and verify roadbooks
  • Create accurate turn-by-turn navigation notes with correct distances, directions, and hazards
  • Digitalise roadbooks into the required formats and systems
  • Test roadbooks end-to-end under real riding conditions
  • Maintain absolute accuracy despite fatigue, weather, terrain, or long riding days
  • Identify, document, and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or unclear instructions
  • Re-check all navigation data multiple times to ensure reliability
  • Flag potential safety risks or ambiguous navigation points
  • Follow strict quality and safety standards for all roadbook outputs
  • Communicate clearly with the event team regarding findings, changes, and confirmations
  • Deliver completed roadbooks within agreed timelines
  • What you need

  • Extensive off-road riding experience across all difficulty levels
  • Your own well-maintained motorcycle with a minimum 150km fuel range
  • Proven ability to ride safely and accurately in remote conditions
  • Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with roadbooks, rally navigation, or GPS mapping (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work independently and follow strict quality processes
  • Willingness to travel for events as required
  • Who this role suits

  • Off-road riders looking for a bit of extra paid work
