Inclusions, what do I get and how many hours?

12 hour volunteer-suitable if you want to volunteer for the entire event or for a complimentary riding ticket.

When do I need to arrive?

As a volunteer, you'll receive your own shift schedule. Expect an email confirmation regarding your volunteer schedule a few weeks prior to the event. We expect you to arrive 30 minutes to an hour before your shift. Also, be back on time after you are out riding.

What qualification/experience do I need to have?

We don't require any qualification or experience except for these 3 roles that requires qualification: Sweep Riding, Recovery, Bar (RSA Certificate)

I want to sweep ride. What's involved?

You are going to patrol the tracks, basic understanding of first aid and high level aptitude of riding. Advance riding skill level is required. You will be assisting in retrieval of broken down bikes and first aid. You will be putting checkpoints out and bringing checkpoints back.

Will I get a free ticket if I volunteer?

Yes, if you meet the requirements. You may personally use the ticket, or give it to a friend or family.

What can I expect as a volunteer?

You'll get to meet a lot people and understand how the event runs.

What do I need to bring?

You'll need to bring your camping gear, snacks, water/water bottle, hat, warm and comfortable clothes. Motorcycle-if you are sweep riding, vehicle-for recovery, RSA certificate for bar. A great attitude!

Will I get to participate in the event?

You may participate in the event outside of your shift. You will receive and confirm your shift schedule before the event. Just make sure that you are not too tired when you are back at the event volunteering.

How many volunteers do you normally have?

We will have around 30-40 depending on the size of the event.

Are there any accommodations?

You need to bring your own tent/ vehicle. We will have a volunteer or shed area if you want to hang out.
