What are the required safety gear?
It is mandatory to wear an approved helmet at all times when riding your motorcycle during the event. A protective motorcycle jacket, pants, boots and knee protection (soft or hard) must be worn to participate. You will be checked at the starting line.
What other gears do you recommend?
We recommend to bring a first aid kit, extra phone or battery, or definitely bring a battery pack especially if you don't have the ability to charge your phone on your motorbike. Contact lenses in the case that it's going to rain to prevent your goggles or glasses from fogging up. Consider bringing a satellite phone or ePurb—as there are large portions of the forest which do not have signal and it will expedite the time taken to find and recovery you.
What other must-haves do you recommend?
Snacks, energy gels and water.
