Food & Drinks
Do you sell food at the event?
Yes, there will be food available to purchase at Lima South 2025. OpenRoads Rally will not be catering at this event since there will be an on-site caterer. We will email out a form which you can use to pre-order your meal packs.
Do you have any kitchen facilities?
There are no kitchen facilities available on site to the public.
Should I bring snacks?
Yes absolutely. Please bring as much food as you need while you are riding. Fuel your body and bring extra (we recommend energy gels) in case of an emergency.
Do you have drinking water?
The event site has bore water and therefore is not potable. The event site sells bottled water, and we will have free water supplied by our sponsor.
Will you be selling alcohol?
Yep! We love a good frothy after a hard day's ride.
What alcohol will you be selling?
We sell a range of beers, cider, spirits and soft-drink. Please buy from us! We are not much more expensive and all funds go back into the rally.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No this event is not BYO! In saying this, we price our drinks very affordably (usually the same or cheaper than the shops due to buying in bulk/sponsorship) and all proceeds go back into building our events. So don't stress too much and just drink with us!
What are the bar opening hours?
Our bar opens at 4pm-11pm on Friday, and 12pm-11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
On-Site Concerns
Do I bring cash or card for purchases?
Both cash and card are available at this event. However, we prefer cash.
I have lost something! What do I do?
See if anyone on Discord found the lost item or share info on the lost item there. Visit the information tent and see if the item has been dropped off. If it has not, leave your contact details and a description of the missing item with the staff member at the information tent. We have some good stories of people finding things on the tracks - usually before the owner knows they are missing!
I have found something! What do I do?
Please list the found item on Discord and hand it over to the staff member stationed at the Information tent. If you have the item in your possession and someone replies on discord, feel free to hand it directly to the owner.
Can I get photos from the event?
Yes! They are usually free depending on the Photographer. You may also find photos on our Facebook page.
I want to get a high resolution/better photo.
You can contact the photographer directly for higher res/quality photos.
I forgot to claim my T-shirt during the event. Can I still claim it after or have it shipped?
You can pick up unclaimed shirts at the next event. But please note, we can't guarantee the availability of your T-shirt because things may get lost between transit to and from events. We don't ship items directly due to limited staff availability.
Are there any guidelines or restrictions on using drones or other recording devices?
Absolutely, flying drones in forested areas comes with specific restrictions. Comprehensive guidelines can be accessed at Broadford. Conducting your own research is advisable.

Recognitions/Challenges
Will there be awards or recognition for participants completing the rally?
