Update from the OpenRoads Rally team - 17 Jun 2024
After careful consideration, our team has decided it is in the best interest of our participants, sponsors, and stakeholders to postpone our MidCoast NSW 2024 rally.
We have not received enough interest in our pre-sale and as a result, we aren't sure we will reach our minimum amount of tickets to hold this event this year.
We don't believe that this is a reflection on us and our events, from what we can see, the economic conditions in Australia/world right now are quite difficult. Many events are at half capacity, or cancelling entirely due to a perfect storm of lack of funding, lack of government support, increased red tape and insurances.
Because we are new to NSW, not as many people know us there yet and this means we are more sensitive to these challenges for this event. We will be going into hibernation mode for the remainder of this year and we will look forward to launching our normal VIC event next March.
